Bloodbank is an app aimed towards young people to give blood. In the last two decades there has been a decline in young people donating blood. This shows a generation gap in new donors. Everyday thousands of people require blood transfusions for various medical reasons.
While the world’s population keeps expanding and life expectancy increases, the demand for blood donations is constantly rising Blood is a lifeline for thousands of people, but supplies need to be increased. The next generation are the Blood Donors of the Future.
The concept behind the bloodbank’s logo is based on the process of when red and white blood cells are being separated. This process that takes place is in the centrifuge machine, while rapidly rotating it creates a circle pattern in separating the cells.
